Natural Ways to Address Breast Tumors

Video Transcript:

Today’s question comes from a viewer who asks, “I purchased the Magi-Complexx essential oil to use directly on my breast to treat a tumor. Please ask Dr. Melissa if I should use one drop a day in liquid.”

So, this is an excellent question, and I really love the Magi-Complexx for a multitude of reasons. In this category of addressing a breast tumor, I recommend both taking the capsules internally while using oil topically. This is the kind of quantifiable data I’m going to share with you, specifically with breast tumors.

Frankincense Shown to Encourage Cell Apoptosis

The oil in the Magi-Complexx, the topical oil, we have frankincense, myrrh, and we also have turmeric. Frankincense specifically has had a high degree or an exhorted degree of clinical research [1]. Specifically in the frankincense, the capacity for that oil to address cancerous tumors. In the world of breast cancer specifically, breast tumors, we have seen a reduction, a cell apoptosis, in clinical research [2] that shows frankincense can be beneficial when used topically.

So, that’s where I like to recommend making sure you’re getting the Joint & Muscle Care (formerly Magi-Complexx capsules) in the capsule form so you’re internally combating inflammation, you’re addressing the degree of inflammation in and around the cells of the tumor. Because if we have any type of tumor, whether it’s benign or malignant, there’s this whole process of the inflammatory system, and sometimes a tampering down of the immune system in and around that area. If you take Joint & Muscle Care, you’re going to be deeply addressing systemic-related inflammation. So, that’s one thing.

Turmeric to Promote Circulation & Lymphatic Flow

The other thing, both internally and topically, we see frankincense, but specifically, turmeric is greatly beneficial at promoting both circulation, as well as lymphatic flow. As a lymphatic therapist [4], I work with breast cancer patients every day, and one of the big things, as they’re going through their different journeys with benign or malignant tumors, is we need to ramp up the lymphatic system promotion, we need to promote the lymph flow.

The breast tissue itself has a very large amount of lymphatic nodes and lymph vessels, lymph capillaries, and this whole entire lymph system is clearing and helping detox the organ to help promote healthy cells. When we get lymphatic congestion, that’s when we can deploy things like both turmeric, but also frankincense in that lymphatic promotion to help clear and detox cellular debris, as well as promote the immune system.

Micro-Dosing the Tumor Area

So, I’m going to recommend more than just one drop of the oil topically. I’m going to recommend multiple kind of micro-dosings of the oil on the actual area of the tumor. For many cases, the tumor doesn’t even have to be something that’s visible, and even in many cases with my patients, they don’t even feel these tumors. So, if you have had scans and you see that there are other areas potentially involved, I would do a more liberal application, but definitely, we’ll post down below some of the links to the research, but frankincense is wonderful for that.

So overall, the Magi-Complexx, I highly recommend using the capsules (now Joint & Muscle Care) internally and then using the oil topically on your breast itself. If you have any type of sensitivity to oils, because oils can be strong and powerful, frankincense specifically is a very grounding oil. Always test first by using a carrier oil, like an almond oil or coconut oil. So those are my recommendations, so I’m curious to see how you do with that.

The powerhouse trio of herbs in Magi-Complexx Essential Oil provides the strongest, most synergistic healing effect, helping sufferers of arthritis pain, constant muscle aches and pains, neuropathy, systemic inflammation, slowed wound healing, circulatory challenges, as well as skin irritations like eczema, psoriasis, and acne.

Video Transcript:

Did you know that the root of our creation of products here at Organixx comes from our desire to help individuals that are dealing with cancer, as well as individuals looking to prevent cancer currently, as well as in the future. This is really exciting, especially for women who might be concerned about their breast health, as well as potential risk for breast cancer.

We created three amazing formulations that you can tap into both the healing power, as well as the balancing capabilities of micronutrients, mineral balancing, and healing functional mushrooms. I want to share with you our first-ever product that we rolled out to help cancer patients.

Add Functional Mushrooms to Your Diet

7 Mushrooms [formerly 7M+] is our blend of seven assorted functional mushrooms. There is a massive quantity of research specifically on reishi and shiitake and maitake, as well as turkey tail and assorted antioxidant-rich mushrooms like chaga that you can tap into on a daily basis by adding 7M to your diet

The Origins of Organixx Supplements

One of the things that you might not know about Jonathan, our owner here at Organixx, is he launched several years ago, The Truth About Cancer. That is an amazing docuseries that helped thousands and thousands of individuals learn about cancer prevention, cancer treatments, natural methodologies, and assorted screenings, as well as supplementation and researched resources. And that ended up turning out to be something that individuals who watched our docuseries, they wanted to find supplements that would be clean, that would be plant-based, that would be dense in these amazing healing micronutrients and properties that the research from the docuseries showed was helpful.

So, those are our origins here at Organixx. And especially with anybody looking to prevent cancer, or to even address assorted healing through cancer phases, as well as post-cancer treatments and surgeries and even chemotherapy and radiation, you can utilize these three amazing, powerful supplements.

Supplement with Microminerals, Magnesium, Selenium & Iodine

So, 7M is one of my favorite resources because of the assorted mushrooms. But also, if you aren’t taking a really clean, plant-based, fermented multivitamin, you definitely want to get that into your diet, especially when it also is going to add in micronutrients like multiminerals. Multiminerals are categorically, across the board, some of the deficiencies we see in cancer patients’ lives.

And enhancing your intake of magnesium and selenium and iodine are going to be helpful in helping support your body’s natural apoptosis – the killing of cancer cells – and the engagement of your immune system in a modulated way that keeps you healthy and well and guards against cancer cells.

Our Multi-Vita-Maxx, this is our multivitamin and it is so wonderful. It’s plant-based, very bio-available, very easy for your body to break down, assimilate and absorb, and helps to ease assorted multimineral, multivitamin deficiencies that might be present in your body.

Address Inflammation

Now, the other supplement that we have is T3D, our Turmeric 3D. This is so fantastic because this specifically addresses a lot of the inflammatory factors that are underlying causes or the root cause of assorted illness and disease.

And with cancer, cancer exists in a very acidic, a very inflamed environment. And ultimately, you can tap into the power of turmeric. You are going to also get really critical nutrient, vitamin D3, which is a steroid that is a precursor to an assortment of hormones and balancing of our hormone system and endocrine system, as well as supports the health and the vitality of your cells. Every single cell in your body is receptive to D3, and that actually fortifies the outer shell of your cell, making it stronger against a cell like a cancer cell.

Supplement Protocols for Various Phases of Cancer & Prevention

Now, I’m also going to recommend how to take these items because you can incorporate these in an assortment of ways. Therapeutically, I recommend some microdosing. For instance, if you are looking at just maintenance, you just want to take three supplements or an assortment of supplements that are baseline really great for keeping your body healthy, delivering an assortment of micronutrients and microminerals to help support your system, your immune health. And ultimately keep your body well and optimized to ward off various viruses, fungal infections, bacterial infections, as well as ward off cancer cell activity, then you would take on a daily basis, the Multi-Vita-Maxx. I recommend this first thing in the morning, taking that with food, and then you can also take a dose of Turmeric 3D and the 7 Mushrooms [formerly 7M+].

So, let’s say you have a family history of breast cancer or prostate cancer or colon cancer, and are looking at preventative, you can also microdose the Turmeric 3D (T3D), and the 7 Mushrooms [formerly 7M+], you could take another dose before bedtime.

And then in really intense therapeutic cases where patients might be currently undergoing radiation or chemotherapy, or in a recovery phase from let’s say a mastectomy or the removal of the prostate gland, or removal of lymph nodes, and a dissection, let’s say of a colon. It’s not a bad idea to take these in a dosing every four to six hours for a period of two to three weeks as you go through the healing process.

Target Inflammation and the Immune and Lymphatic Systems

One of the amazing things that the trio of our amazing cancer preventative supplementation will deliver to you is it delivers an anti-inflammatory regimen. It targets promoting your lymphatic system, it supports your immune system, and it fortifies your body by supporting and enhancing all levels of optimal enzymatic reactions, as well as all the necessary factors that are needed for your body to be strong, supple, and armed against cancer cells.

I’m so excited to introduce you to this foundational line here at Organixx, as well as share with you our amazing cancer patient-focused support, and really that’s the foundation of our work here at Organixx.

7 Mushrooms from Organixx contains 7 of nature’s most powerful mushrooms for anti-aging, longevity, and immune support. Using centuries-old knowledge of the power of nutritional mushrooms and our breakthrough new formulation process we’ve unleashed the power of mushrooms in a way never before done.

Everything You Need to Know About Breast Cancer Screenings

Video Transcript:

Let’s talk about breast screenings, breast cancer screenings. This is a very common question we get from a lot of you viewers. And I am daily working with patients in assessing the assorted, noninvasive resources we have, and technology that we can tap into that can help us determine our course of action in breast cancer prevention, as well as addressing any suspect or abnormal cellular tissue that might reside in your breast cells.

Thermography

So, let’s talk a little bit about an amazing resource that we have that can often detect cellular and inflammatory-related changes eight to 10 years before we even see that show up on a mammogram or an ultrasound. And this technology is called thermography, or getting a thermogram. What thermography is is a reading, a thermal reading of your body. We concentrate in the breast zone to assess the breast health, but you can do a full body scan, you can do a scan of your thyroid.

All areas of the body can be targeted, but thermography specifically is going to be a situation where it is the least invasive, it is a very easy, simple resource where you often will have access to either a thermography center or many cases, like with my wellness center, we would have a thermography center come in, a specialist that would set up a little thermal imaging camera, so just like a digital camera, and then the room would be really cold and you would disrobe. And then the camera would do a scan and you get side view, you get back view, and it would assess the assorted changes and temperature and inflammation within that area or the full body.

What thermograms are, how they’re powerful is, one, the thermal imaging is going to be read by a radiologist. So, this is an expert that knows what they’re looking for in terms of tissue changes, inflammatory conditions, and we can also utilize thermography to identify if there are any, what we call hot cells. Maybe there’s a state of inflammation, a clustering of inflammation, a little dot of it.

We can also see assorted imbalances or lack of lymphatic flow throughout the body. And while thermography is not yet FDA approved, it is my go-to and my recommendation for all screenings of any type of cancer, as well as the screening to be able to determine the state of inflammation within your body. If you do a full screen, you can also identify any inflammation related to dental work or up in your ears or down circulation flow and imbalances with your legs and lower extremities.

When to Get Screenings Performed

So, thermography is fantastic specifically at identifying base-level cellular changes and inflammation within the body. How thermography is performed, you get your first baseline scan, and then three months later, you do a repeat scan. So, we have an identification of exactly the state of your breast.

And this goes into kind of the detail about when to do screenings. But often, you want to have your screening – be it thermography, your ultrasound, or mammograms – you want to have your screening from day five of your cycle to day 10. So, if your period is day one, for women who are menstruating, go in day five to day 10, that is when you’re going to have the most supple, least fibrotic or denser breast tissue. So, repeat those screenings in that timeframe, so we get a better accurate version of your breast cells.

So, thermography is great for that and you do a repeat on the third month and then you repeat every year. And that is how I choose to analyze my breast health as well as overall inflammatory state.

Ultrasound

Now, the second option is ultrasound. And there are an assortment of ultrasound options. There are 3D ultrasounds. There are ultrasounds that are going to be performed by a technologist or technician who is an ultrasound tech and they are manually performing ultrasound.

And now, one of the most effective ultrasound is what we call an automatic whole breast ultrasound, and it’s going to take over 3000 assorted images. And there’s a particular ultrasound machine called SonoCiné, and we’re starting to see the development of these SonoCiné machines. They’re in California, they’re in assorted middle… kind of the middle part of America and other areas in the northeast. So, you may or may not have one of these machines or access to this type of ultrasound, but it is coming and it is definitely what I recommend over traditional ultrasound or tech-involved ultrasound.

Basically, how it works is you wear this mesh kind of sports bra, and this ultrasound machine literally will take images of the top part of the breast, lower part of the breast, side, you get underneath the armpit, so you analyze your lymph nodes. It also gets right here in the middle part of the breast.

It is extremely comprehensive and one of the things that we’re seeing (this was developed by a breast specialist), one of the things that we’re seeing is that this type of automated whole breast ultrasound is so comprehensive, it is finding abnormal lesions or abnormal cells up to or as small as two to three millimeters. Often, those are going to be missed by traditional ultrasound that’s guided by a tech and kind of at the whim of the tech searching for something. Or as well, we see sometimes that being missed by mammograms.

So the SonoCiné is definitely, in my book, one of the resources and recommendations I have for a lot of my patients that might have denser breast tissue. And it’s a great overall line of assessing suspect tissue or analyzing any areas of where you palpate any tenderness or feel cellular changes, density of your breast tissue.

Mammograms

Now, the last and final one that’s very common are mammograms, and there are assorted mammograms. There’s 3D or 2D mammograms. There’s the head-on kind of normal mammogram type. So, there are different ways of screening via mammography. And mammography has a place in our medical model. It’s the only, the primary, resource that we often see.

I’m now seeing a lot of OB-GYNs and breast surgeons recommending a combination of ultrasound and mammography because the two together can catch more than the two individually. So, just know that sometimes it might be the two in combination that you’re having, but ultimately, you are in control of your health and wellness and you’re also in control of the screenings.

Be Proactive & Advocate for Your Health

I’ve even had my own personal experience where I want just an ultrasound and some of the policies of imaging centers require I also have a mammogram. And so there’s just… you might have to call around, you might have to find one screening tech versus another that’s a little bit more open-minded.

But just know, you have ultimate power in terms of utilizing these resources as prevention, but also diagnostically to determine, do you necessarily need to have a biopsy? If you go with thermography, you get a SonoCiné, full breast automatic, automated whole breast ultrasound. If there’s nothing that is suspect in those, then it might not necessarily be a course of action to go get a biopsy.

So, just know that you have a lot of different options in your arsenal. Some might not be covered by insurance. Some you might have to travel to or go out of your town. But there are a lot of very powerful tools that we can tap into. And then you can work those into your screening resource, or your screening plan. Whereas, maybe my screening plan is a little bit less aggressive than others that maybe have family history.

So, just know these are some really great resources. If you haven’t tried thermography, it’s awesome. So, I definitely recommend you test that out and get a screen and see what comes from that.

So, I’m excited to share these tips with you. And just know, it is very important that we be proactive. Screenings do not have to be fear-oriented. They’re powerful as tools. It’s information, gives us knowledge. Knowledge is power. I hope that’s helpful for you.

How to Detox Heavy Metals After Chemotherapy

Video Transcript:

Today’s Ask Dr. Melissa question comes from Bobbi. She says, “I need to know the best way to detox lead from my body. Seven years out from chemo, and detoxing as much as I can, and I still have the same amount of lead. It’s discouraging. Is chelation IV safe? Is there another, better way?”

Detoxing After Chemo

So, Bobbi, this is a fantastic question and one I often hear from my patients who’ve undergone assorted cancer treatments involving chemotherapy.

One of the most important body systems that you need to focus on to invigorate your detox process is your lymphatic system [1]. That will help release some of those toxic chemicals that we can hold in our body for decades. So, even though you’re seven years out of your chemotherapy, it’s not uncommon for individuals to still be showing high levels of certain chemicals or metals, like lead, 20, 30 years after the fact.

Supporting Your Lymphatic System

So, just know some of the things that you can do are going to be supportive of your lymphatic process. Your lymphatic system gets bogged down by chemotherapy and just the active nature of killing all sorts of cells to get rid of the cancer cells, so we need to open up that system. And I’ll share with you a few resources that I talk a lot about over on my YouTube channel, and there’s a ton of videos. I think I have 50 or 60 videos that share tactical resources, DIY massage techniques, but here are a few that you can do immediately.

Rebounding

One, rebound. Get on a mini trampoline and bounce up and down. If you can’t bounce fully, lifting off of the trampoline pad, there are some trampolines that you can have a handlebar and so you don’t necessarily need to have that bounce up off of the trampoline to get the effect, but the act of bouncing up and down, research – actually NASA research – shows that that act of bouncing on a trampoline opens up the lymphatic valves and helps circulate and really helps minimize the toxins and the burden on the lymphatics in removing toxic waste and cellular debris from the system.

Dry Brushing

The other thing, the second thing you can do, and I have a download and we can include here for you to download, I have a free resource that shares with you, how to do dry skin body brushing. That is a manual technique for you to motivate your lymphatic system.

I recommend that all of my cancer patients do two sessions morning and evening, so kind of sandwich the day, with your dry skin body brushing techniques, and this is a really good way to invigorate that flow of the lymphatics so that we are detoxing the system.

Is Chelation Right for You?

As far as IV chelation, one of the things that I caution folks on doing any type of chelation therapy, it can be highly effective at removing sorted things like lead or mercury, arsenic from the body, but it’s only, only powerful if all your routes of elimination are clear, meaning you have good healthy bowel movements, your lymphatic system is working properly, and you have good urination flow, you’re sweating well.

So, that is really important, as well as your lungs. You want to make sure your lungs are clear, breathing is functional, at an optimal level, and you don’t have any type of imbalances in the capacity to breathe well or have mucus build up in the bronchioles, so making sure that those three routes of elimination are open and clear. If you have any skin eruptions, you want to clear those up before doing IV chelation.

So, that’s really important. IV chelation can be powerful, but it’s also a strain on your system, so you don’t want to do anything that would strain the system or cause overwhelm. You want to make sure, first, the routes of elimination are open so that the effective nature of the IV chelation can take place. But it isn’t a bad idea. I would try it one time, see how you do see if you have any ill reactions or abnormal symptoms, and then repeat maybe once a month. I wouldn’t do a lot of back-to-back, which is often what gets sold or represented to patients.

So, I hope that was helpful and do check out some of my resources. They’re all free to you. You can check them out on YouTube and there’s a free download that you can grab as well that details the step-by-step of how to dry skin body brush your body.

Most Effective Supplements for Supporting Breast Health

Video Transcript:

Today I’m going to share with you the best supplementation for any of you who are seeking to prevent breast cancer or are looking to also address any of the changes in the breast tissue, i.e. maybe you have a little denser breast tissue or fibroids or cysts of the breast. These supplements, overall, are going to be extremely powerful at helping support and optimize your breast health

Powerful Functional Mushrooms

Number one, I love functional mushrooms. I talk about functional mushrooms all the time, literally every day with an assortment of my patients, because functional mushrooms can play a significant role in enhancing your immune health and can also support assorted imbalances and address imbalances in your body that might be leading to the development of denser tissue or the assimilation and the proliferation of breast cells.

Mushrooms that we are going to find here in our 7M+, mushrooms have been studied extensively, and mushrooms aren’t plants and they’re not living animals. They’re in their own kingdom and that kingdom, the fungi kingdom, is a really unique kingdom in that we know that a lot of animals and humans can benefit from their medicinal properties.

And I’m going to share with you three of the mushrooms in our 7M+ blend that have been extensively researched and can be quite powerful for any of you who maybe have a family history or if you yourself are concerned about some suspect tissue or are monitoring tissue.

Maitake Minimizes Cellular Changes & Induces Cancer Cell Apoptosis

So, the first mushroom that is an amazing mushroom for breast cancer and breast cancer prevention is maitake. So maitake inhibits something called angiogenesis, and it also induces cancer cell apoptosis. So, fancy words, is it minimizes the cellular changes in the breast cells so that they are not going to change into cancerous cells. And they also, if there are cancerous cells, let’s say pre-cancerous cells or even the beginning or latent stages of cancer development, it will create a cell death that occurs, or apoptosis that is the killing of cells.

But specifically, cancer cells are going to be very susceptible to maitake, and that becomes really powerful, especially for some women who might be diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. There’s been research specifically on maitake in minimizing the metastasis, the progression of that triple-negative breast cancer.

So, I have patients in my arsenal, catalog, of patients who are thriving and living with breast cancer, taking mushrooms, like maitake and the assorted mushrooms in 7M+, that are keeping the breast cancer from overwhelming their system and many of them are seeing apoptosis. So, that is extremely powerful. I love maitake across the board. It’s great for all of us, but specifically, if you’re looking at minimizing any of that proliferation, maitake can be powerful for that.

Shiitake Enhances the Simulation of Iodine, Which Protects Cells

Now, my second favorite mushroom is shiitake. Shiitake is very rich in selenium. Selenium is going to enhance the body’s natural production of iodine. And it’s more so, I want to say this, not so much the production but the accumulation or simulation of iodine.

Iodine is very protective of not just our breast cells, but all cells in our body. We see a greater proliferation of iodine receptivity in our breast tissue. And we can see when we enhance our selenium, it supports our thyroid, which supports our breast health. That particularly is important for many women who have different phases of breast density. And you’ll know this, especially if you had a mammogram or any of the screenings, they will classify class three or four in terms of breast density.

Reishi Inhibits the Invasion of Cancer Cells

Now, the other mushroom that I love, I love, love, love, is reishi. Reishi is extremely powerful. It will help minimize or inhibit the adhesion, the migration, and the invasion of cancer cells. And when we’re talking about adhesions, we are constantly dealing with cancer cells. Our body’s lymphatic system is eliminating them every day. And it’s only when they adhere to and migrate and proliferate that they become problematic. And a lot of it has to do with environment and other factors.

Now, when we look at reishi, the studies on that shows that reishi will minimize that adhering to, then, the movement of assorted cancer cells. And we also see it minimizes the receptivity to assorted hormone-enhancing or hormone-driven breast cancer cells. So, for women who are looking at a family history, you’ve got a mom, a grandmother, or an aunt, even a daughter, anybody in your family that’s had breast cancer, reishi is definitely up there with these other two mushrooms in helping minimize the risk of cancer

Pair Reishi with Tamoxifen to Enhance Effectiveness

And then also for breast cancer patients, my thrivers and survivors, they’ve gone through a mastectomy or lumpectomy and cancer radiation surgeries, any assortment of those treatments and now they’re in remission, cancer is gone, but often they’re being prescribed tamoxifen, which is a very common preventative after the first bout of cancer. What we find is reishi in clinical studies actually enhances the effectiveness of tamoxifen. We’re now at a 17-, 18-year assessment of the effectiveness of tamoxifen at minimizing the recurrence of breast cancer. Well, reishi can be great for those individuals.

Magnesium Prevents Calcification

Now, I want to share with you another supplement, and you can actually find this in our Magnesium 7. An assortment of magnesium types are really powerful at minimizing the risk of developing calcifications in your breast cells, the breast tissue, and even in the vascular channel of the breast.

Magnesium is a calcium blocker, it’s a calcium antagonist. Magnesium will function like a bouncer, minimizing the articulation, the development of calcifications in the breast cells. It also does that throughout the body. We see that minimizing arterial sclerosis and other factors that might lead to stroke or heart attack. But particularly when it comes to calcifications in the breast cells, magnesium is hands down one of the most powerful things that you can do.

So, if you know you have some calcifications, one, cut coffee because that tends to be a big factor, but add Magnesium 7 to your program because that can be very good as a preventative.

Promote Lymphatic Flow and Reduce Inflammation

Now, the other thing I’m going to share with you is our Joint & Muscle Care. I love this combination. In here you’re going to find frankincense, myrrh, and turmeric. Turmeric is a very lymphatic-promotive herb. It is a very, very powerful promoter of lymphatic flow and helps minimize inflammation.

A lot of women have breast cell inflammation, and there are inflammatory disorders of the breast tissue that is not cancerous, but definitely can be a sign or precursor to breast cancer. So, lowering your inflammation levels is going to be helpful, not just for your breast tissue, but your overall health.

Now, the other thing that we have in the Joint & Muscle Care is turmeric. Turmeric has been extensively studied and we see that, and this goes back to a 2015 research study. This study analyzed the actual capacity of using frankincense oil to create cell apoptosis. Now, we can tap into the power of frankincense by adding the Joint & Muscle Care to the program because to the combination of turmeric – lymphatic promotive – and frankincense – causes the apoptosis, the killing of these cancer cells – we need to clear those out and we do that via lymphatic promotion.

And I’m really excited. By that study in 2015, a lot of us were recommending frankincense. And the research shows it is very powerful that the oil itself can be something that the cancer cells are susceptible, they’re weaker in that influence.

Vitamin D3 Deficiency is Common in Breast Cancer Patients

And then my last and final recommendation is adding vitamin D3. One of the things that we see is that women who have instances of assorted breast cancers, categorically across the board, they are deficient in vitamin D. And you’re going to find 5,000 IUs in the Turmeric 3D, the T3D. And on average 5,000 IUs is a good base level. Some women may need to go all the way up to 30, 40, or 50,000 IUs depending on your deficiency.

And I dig into a lot of these resources in my Ultimate Breast Guide. I have a course that digs into breast health, and you can really, really parlay a lot of the education into the supplementation and find out assorted ways that can fortify your system and really look at preventing any of the development of those environmental factors that lead to the proliferation of breast cancer cells inside your body.

I hope you take these tips and utilize these awesome resources we have available for you here at Organixx.

5 Ways to Prevent Breast Cancer

Video Transcript:

Today I want to share with you five ways to prevent breast cancer. First, it’s very important that we focus on healing and wellness and optimization and the capacity for our own healing, self-healing capacity within our body. Let’s focus on that versus a lot of the fear, the angst, and the concern that a lot of us have if you feel a lump, a bump or a mass or maybe have a family history.

I work specifically with a lot of breast cancer patients and an underlying theme of concern and fear is very normal, very traditional, but it also can cause undue stress. So, today I want to share with you these five tips that will help you harness your own natural power and give you the assorted resources to help you live your healthiest life, as well as address cancer prevention and to keep your breast cells as healthy as they can be.

Practice Self-Care & Advocacy

Number one, my most important tip, is to practice self-care and advocacy. This is kind of a two-parter. Self-care is really doing everything in this list and exercising and doing things that are taking care of yourself.

One of the things I’m going to talk about today is the role that the lack of self-care plays, actually, on your breast health. So, there’s some emotional connections. But self-care involves making healthcare, and prioritizing your wellness every day, making it a priority. Putting yourself first in many cases and not necessarily taking a back seat and taking care of everybody else and neglecting yourself.

Also, advocating for your health and wellness with your clinician, with your OB/GYN, with your breast health expert, as well as seeking resources that might not necessarily be mainstream or conventional, but we know are supportive of breast health. For instance, utilizing certain techniques that promote your lymphatic system, as well as taking and consuming supplements and oils topically to support your breast health. Most importantly, practicing or conducting self-breast exams.

I am going to tell you a quick story about a call I had yesterday with one of my patients. I do a lot of virtual appointments. One of my patients told me that she was absolutely frightened to touch her breast tissue because she didn’t want to find anything, and that fear is a driver and a blocker. It’s literally blocking her capacity to be her best and most optimized self. It also is blocking her self-care because we need to feel what’s going on and we need to get connected to our body. Self-care is going to be the way through the fear, the angst, and the concern that you might have around annual screenings and monthly, weekly, daily breast exams.

I say daily, weekly, and monthly breast exams because it’s not just a month we celebrate breast health awareness. It’s not necessarily every month or every week that you want to be examining your breast tissue. Every day, you want to do a quick assessment of your breast health and target underneath your lymph nodes. Feel the side of your breasts, feel in between your breasts because every day, and especially if you’re cycling certain periods of the month, your breast cells are going to be different and they’re going to change. So, if you only do a breast exam on the first day of the month, well that might not be a point where you can feel certain tissue in your breast because you might be getting ready to have a cycle or maybe you’re in mid-cycle. So, it’s very important that we practice self-care, as well as advocate for yourself.

If you have a concern, don’t delay. If you have a clinician that won’t perform a test or is telling you to do X, Y, and Z and it doesn’t sit well with you, you can find another one. I want to really encourage you to harness your own empowerment for yourself and advocate. If you are concerned about anything, don’t delay. Time is critical and it also can calm your concerns by identifying via diagnostics if there’s anything that should be of concern.

Practice a Healthy Lifestyle

Number two is practice as healthy of a lifestyle as you can. Lifestyle is really a critical piece to cancer prevention, especially when we know epigenetics, our environment that influences our genes. That can be the point where either you are minimizing your cancer risk or you’re turning on genes that can then influence cancer development or progression of cancer cells.

Harnessing a good healthy lifestyle where you’re reducing stress, you’re eating clean foods, you’re exercising, and you’re doing all of the things that are necessary for your optimal wellness, but also are going to be supportive of enhancing your breast health.

The lifestyle component here also includes eliminating assorted estrogenic-enhancing items that are in your life. For instance, alcohol and caffeine are not pro-breast health. I know that’s a big subject for folks. I always recommend moving from coffee to green tea. And then also limiting your consumption of estrogenic foods like non-organic, non-grass-fed chicken or meat as well as eliminating things that might be in your environment.

Assess Your Emotional State and Relationships

Now, number three, this is a really, really critical factor and I delve deeply into this with a lot of my breast cancer patients, as well as patients that might be dealing with denser fibrotic breast cells or have a condition or staging of fibrosis within their breasts. Our relationship with ourself and others close to us – our parents, our partners, and our children – can actually influence the state of our breast health.

I dig into this in one of the multiple modules in my breast health course. I have created a multi-module extensive breast health focus course. It’s called The Ultimate Guide to Optimal Breast Health. In one of the modules, I dig into our emotional state and how we have one side, the left versus the right side, and how that affects our relationships. The relationship influence with our fathers or the male in our life, as well as the influence of our females in our life can affect certain sides of the breast tissue. So, that is really important as well as the relationship you have with yourself.

Again, going back to my number-one tip here is to practice self-care. And that’s really critical because a lot of times the emotions of let’s say the left breast where it might be more enlarged, might be denser, or problematic, where we might see calcifications or fibroids. That comes to back to the emotions where a lot of women are neglecting themselves and not putting themselves first in terms of healthcare.

Choose High-Quality Supplements that Support Your Immune System

Now, number four, you’re in luck here at Organixx, and it is reaching for powerful supplementation that can enhance your immune system, modulate your immune system, supports the bolstering of your immune health as well as bolstering of your cells like vitamin D3, as well as tapping into assorted adaptogens and functional mushrooms.

A trio of resources here that I love to recommend for women, I love 7M+ because of the assorted functional mushrooms that are highly antioxidant dense as well as have extensive research in the assorted cancer cell apoptosis that can occur with reishi and the influences of maitake. And even women with tamoxifen, we find that reishi specifically has been found to make the tamoxifen, post-cancer, and that’s that interim where we’re trying to keep you away from another diagnosis of cancer. Tamoxifen is more effective when you take reishi.

Now, another supplement that I love to recommend is magnesium. Magnesium 7, particularly because a lot of women will have a diagnosis of a calcification, and that simply means there is bone matter in the vascular channel of your breast cells and that tends to trigger a response within your breast tissue. The breast cells themselves will change.

That calcification tends to be a precursory state that is going to be a watch-and-see for a lot of women. There are ways to reduce calcifications. I go into that further in my course, but knowing that magnesium is one of the most powerful calcium blockers in our vascular channel, you can tap into the power of magnesium to promote the restoration of good, healthy breast cells, as well as prevent the actual calcification of that tissue. So, that’s really important to take advantage of.

Then I also love Turmeric 3D. This is a very powerful resource that we have here that you can tap into the antioxidant, as well as the lymphatic promotive power of turmeric and frankincense is an awesome resource. We’ve seen a lot of research where frankincense oil can create cell apoptosis.

And then a bonus is our Joint & Muscle Care. This is a very, very powerful resource that contains the frankincense, so I’m really excited to share it. Those are four supplements that I recommend highly for any woman who is looking to support their breast cells and be in a more strategic, preventative way.

Eliminate Negative Environmental Factors: Xenoestrogens

But also number five, my last and final tip, is to eliminate environmental factors that can contribute to cancer cell development. One of the biggest offenders for breast cells or the change of breast cell tissue are going to be estrogens. There are things, estrogen types, called xenoestrogens. These are foreign estrogens. We’re going to find these very prolific in a lot of the chemical products that are in our cleaning and household goods

Inside the house, making sure you eliminate a lot of the Clorox and a lot of the really offensive perfume-dense products that you might be using to clean. Throw away your Glade Plug-ins because those are just spewing a lot of xenoestrogens into your air and are actually causing more burden for your body to eliminate those estrogens, and that also, those excess estrogens, change the density and change the tissue of your breast cells.

The other thing I’m really, really a big proponent of is getting rid of any of the Round-up or what we call the Monsanto products. These are going to be pesticides, herbicides, insecticides that you might be spraying in your backyard. Sometimes that leeches into your pools or even we see traces of that in our water, which leads me to recommend filtering your water using a really good filtration process that can eliminate out a lot of those toxins – chloramines, fluoride, as well as things like statins. We see statins and birth control in drinking water. Being aware of our environment is also going to put less strain and burden on your body.

I’ll tell you a big, big tip here. One of the most offensive environmental factors is using deodorants and perspirants underneath the arms. That actually can be really, really overwhelming to your system in that an antiperspirant shrinks your lymph nodes. We want our lymphatic system to be clearing our breast cells and clearing out and eliminating cancer cells, which is one of its functions. The other function is the support of our immune system. Eliminating those are going to be highly impactful in your prevention of breast cancer and helping you optimize your wellness overall.

I hope you take these tips every day and every month and we look at really, really fortifying your system throughout the year in helping prevent breast cancer as well as any other inflammatory diseases and disorders with these five tips.
