I love lemon bread, so this would be a great substitute without the carbs! Thank-you!

Cindy Symington says
Love the ghee in these, makes them super moist! ... but they aren't very sweet or lemony... i even added three drops lemon essential oil. I think more zest would help, and if you are making for someone who doesn’t appreciate the keto plan, sub regular sugar. For me, they’re good, but consensus at my house is add icing or more sweetener.
Nadia McLaren says
Is the collagen essential to the recipe?
Also have you made this recipe with coconut oil rather than ghee (or a combination of these)?
Customer Service says
Hi Nadia, thank you for your question.
It is your preference whether you wish to add our Clean Sourced Collagens to the recipe or not. We just feel that it makes a great addition to any recipe.
The recipe was made with melted ghee which is similar to coconut oil. If you would rather use coconut oil instead, you are free to do so. Let us know if you decide to recreate the recipe. We would love to hear how it turns out for you.
Thank you so much for being here with us. Have a great day!!
