Why Dr. Melissa Doesn’t Typically Recommend Multivitamins
Video Transcript:
Multi-Vita-Maxx is such a great multivitamin, multimineral mix. Generally speaking, I actually don’t recommend multivitamins because they’re often deficient in the assorted forms of vitamins that we need, and also, they are hard for the body to break down.
But I’m excited to share with you that I do recommend Multi-Vita-Maxx here from Organixx because we have delivered plant-based, wholefood-based nutrition in this multivitamin.
And that’s a big difference.
Most Multivitamins Aren’t Broken Down in Your Stomach
To be honest with you, what we see in the clinical setting, especially if we x-ray a gut, a lot of the typical multivitamins – like Centrum or the ones that you’re buying at big-box stores like Target, and your pharmacies, or even your grocery stores – they don’t even get broken down by your stomach. So, it’s a total waste of money, it’s a total waste of digestive effort. And in general, it can cause more harm than good.
Augment Your Diet with Food-Based Nutrition & Multi-Minerals
With Multi-Vita-Maxx, we have blended in not just food-based nutrition, we’ve also added enzymatic nutrition. We’ve also added multi-minerals, which are really, really… this is where we harness the amazing power of the Multi-Vita-Maxx. And we’ve added pre- and probiotics to the mix.
So, globally speaking, if you are looking for a way to up your nutrition, you’re looking to augment or supplement what you are consuming on a daily basis, be it juicing or a vegan diet, or you’re looking to add maybe a little bit more greens and good nutrition, then a Multi-Vita-Maxx is a great resource for you to cover those additional needs.
The blending of the multivitamins – this is what I really want to share with you, why this is so powerful, and why I really believe every person – from our early teens to our seniors – should be taking Multi-Vita-Maxx.
Multi-minerals are absolutely critical for your body to function. Without minerals, we have deficiencies, and deficiencies lead to symptoms like insomnia, hair loss, imbalanced heart rate and blood pressure levels, we see calcium mismanagement within the body, and we also see fatigue and immune disorders.
When we supplement on a daily basis with a multi-mineral in a multivitamin mix, we’re actually harnessing the power of plants and the power of good nutrition to support our body, so that we’re constantly maintaining those levels.
Bioavailability, Prebiotics & Probiotics are Key
And the other thing that’s really critical is, digestively, the prebiotic and probiotics you’re going to be receiving are also going to help with your digestive process, which in turn helps you to break down better the multivitamin and multi-mineral and the enzymatic nutrition, and it helps you assimilate it better. So overall, we give you a full, complete multi-mineral in a true full form, that is more bioavailable for your body to absorb.
When Should You Take a Multivitamin?
Now, how do you take it? That’s always a big question. I always recommend taking a multivitamin in the morning. Take it with a meal, and that often is going to be the kicking off to your regular supplement regimen.
Often, you’re going to be taking other wonderful products like we have here at Organixx, and you can add in some of those other things, like if you need a little bit more magnesium, you can add that in, or you need a little bit more protein, or even some of the probiotics, you can add those in. You can add them on top of the Multi-Vita-Maxx.
So, I’m excited to share with you some of the most impactful ways for you to improve your health is to have a baseline foundational supplement. And here we have the Multi-Vita-Maxx for you to use. I’m so excited to share this recommendation with you. Multivitamins and multi-minerals in this specific form that we’ve harnessed is going to really, really open up a lot of the energy as well as the digestive requirements needed by your body to assimilate all the good nutrition in this Multi-Vita-Maxx.

I would love an an answer to Rosie Jones’ question too.

Hi Kathy,
Great question. We are sorry for any confusion caused. There is a big difference between dl-alpha tocopherol and d-alpha tocopherol. d-alpha tocopherol is what is in MVM and it is very good. You want your supplements to have d-alpha tocopherol in it. d-Alpha Tocopherol or natural Vitamin E is made out of natural nutrients from vegetable oils, nuts, grains, etc. dl-alpha-tocopherol comes from petrochemicals. This is not good.
In the article her emphasis is that synthetic vitamin E is the problem. Not vitamin E from natural sources.
I hope you find this information helpful.
Happy Holidays!

Hi. Dr. Melissa,
I love your talks. You are so compassionate in what you do and it shows in your talks. Thank you for this. I have received so much info from them and have gone back a few times to listen to a few again. Thank you.
I did look over the various vitamins listed on Multi-Vita Max since I was considering purchasing this for myself and husband, but as I was going over the list I noticed that under Vitamin E it is listed as tocopherols . You had a talk on this awhile back and mentioned to get rid of all vitamins that had this in it since it was toxic (could cause cancer) and to go to tocotrienols instead.
So now I am a bit confused since Multi-Vita Max has tocopherols instead of tocotrienols that you spoke on in it.
Clarification for my understanding and what to do would be so appreciated.
Thank you for your response back.
