DIY Probiotic Face Mask Recipe

  • ½ small avocado, mashed (skin & pit removed)
  • 1 Tbsp raw local honey
  • 4 to 6 ounces live culture plain Greek yogurt (full fat)
  • 1 capsule Organixx ProBiotixx or ProBiotixx+


  1. Mash the avocado well and mix in the other ingredients. (Note: You can use either Organixx ProBiotixx or the new ProBiotixx+)
  2. Apply a thin coat onto clean skin and leave on for 12-20 minutes.
  3. Rinse and follow with usual toner, serum, and moisturizer.
  4. Use two times per week.

      All the food ingredients in this face mask are helpful for softening and soothing the skin, and will certainly benefit the skin all by themselves. However, there are a few different specific strains of probiotics that are known to be particularly beneficial for the skin microbiome. This includes Bacillus coagulans and Lactobacillus plantarum (which are both in the original ProBiotixx formula), while the upgraded ProBiotixx+ includes a super single strain of L. plantrarum. Adding the ProBiotixx+, therefore, is what makes it a probiotics face mask.
