Sleepy Banana Peel Tea
Ingredients
2 organic banana peels, well-cleaned (include the banana flesh for a sweeter tea)
1 cinnamon stick
3 cardamom pods, cracked
3 whole cloves
¹/₁₆ teaspoon pink Himalayan/sea salt (or more)
4 cups filtered water
Optional Add-ins:
Sweetener of choice
Splash of unsweetened milk
Dash of Ceylon cinnamon
Instructions
- Place all of your ingredients into a pot. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Remove the banana peel and spices. Stir in any desired add-ins.
- Enjoy about an hour before bed. Can store in refrigerator for up to 3 days.
