Spicy Kale Vitamin Smoothie


  • 1 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
  • 1 cup raw chopped kale
  • 1 orange, peel & seeds removed
  • 1/2 teaspoon spirulina powder
  • ½-1 inch fresh ginger root, peeled
  • 1 Tablespoon coconut oil
  • Pinch of cinnamon for garnish
  • Optional: 3 droppersful of Organixx Liquid Multi-Vita-Maxx


  1. Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. For a thinner smoothie, add more milk. For a thicker smoothie, add a few ice cubes. Enjoy!

  2. I was told that you need to steam the kale first… If you eat kale raw regularly you can jam you’re kidneys… Is this true?

    Something to do with Oxalic acid…

      Regarding your question, please feel free to use steamed kale instead for this smoothie. You may also blanch it and do an ice water bath if you want it to be crispier. We love it when our readers add their own twist on our recipes!
