Warming Roasted Pear Smoothie
Ingredients
2 hard pears, halved
1 Tablespoon coconut oil
½ avocado
¼ cup lite or full-fat coconut milk (keep can at room temperature)
¼ cup filtered water
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
½ teaspoon Ceylon cinnamon
Pinch of pink Himalayan/sea salt
Optional Add-ins:
1 Tablespoon of your preferred sweetener
Handful of organic spinach
1 scoop of Organixx OrganiGreens powder

Cayenne pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 F. Cut washed pears in half and scoop out the seeds.
- Place pear halves skin side down on a baking sheet. Brush cut sides with coconut oil and sprinkle with just a small pinch of pink Himalayan/sea salt.
- Roast for about 30 to 35 minutes or until pears are soft and easily pierced with a fork. Remove pan from oven and allow pears to cool slightly.
- Place warm pears into a high-speed blender along with the remaining ingredients. Blend up well and enjoy warm.
