Roasted Asparagus with Lemon Tahini Sauce
Ingredients
1 bunch asparagus (about 1 lb)
2 Tablespoons olive/avocado oil
Lemon Tahini Sauce:
4 Tablespoons tahini
½ teaspoon garlic salt
¼ teaspoon cumin
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
⅛ – ¹⁄₁₆ teaspoon cayenne pepper (more or less depending on taste)
½ lemon, juiced
Filtered water (for thinner consistency, if desired)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Whisk together sauce ingredients and set aside.
- Break off the hard ends of the asparagus and place asparagus spears on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and spread in a single layer.
- Bake in preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until desired level of doneness is reached.
- Serve roasted asparagus warm, drizzled with desired amount of sauce. Enjoy!
