Ingredients
4-6 inches fresh ginger root, sliced & peeled
2 Tablespoons fennel seeds, lightly crushed
4 cups filtered water
6 organic apples, washed & chopped to fit juicer
3 organic lemons, peeled & sliced in half
¼th – ⅛th teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
⅛th teaspoon pink Himalayan/sea salt
1 Tablespoon honey, or to taste
Instructions
- Add ginger root and fennel seeds to small pot along with filtered water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Allow tea to cool until warm. Juice apples and lemons.
- Add juice to tea along with honey, salt, and cayenne pepper. Whisk together.
- Serving size is about 8 ounces. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator for up to 5 days. Serve warm or cold and enjoy!
