Cold Brew Collagens Chicory Root Coffee
Ingredients
¼ cup coffee, coarsely ground
¼ cup roasted chicory root, coarsely ground
2 cups filtered water
4 medjool dates, chopped (or preferred sweetener)
2 Tablespoons coconut cream (or butter/olive oil/coconut oil/avocado oil/heavy cream)
2 scoops Organixx Clean Sourced Collagens powder
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/8th teaspoon pink Himalayan/sea salt
1 cup preferred unsweetened milk (dairy or non-dairy)
Ice cubes
Instructions
- Add ground coffee and chicory to glass jar. Pour filtered water over top. Stir. Place on lid and brew on kitchen counter for 12-24 hours, depending on taste preference.
- Filter cold brewed chicory coffee through a nut milk bag to remove grounds.
- When ready to serve, add 4 chopped medjool dates, coconut cream, Organixx Clean Sourced Collagens powder, vanilla, salt, and milk to a blender container. Blend up until smooth.
- In each serving glass, add desired amount of ice, 1 cup cold brewed chicory coffee, and top with evenly divided milk mixture. Garnish with Ceylon cinnamon and enjoy!
