Detoxifying Apple Cider Vinegar Drink

Apple Cider Vinegar is full of enzymes and good bacteria. It contains acetic acid, which has been shown to help lower blood pressure. 

Honey has been used for thousands of years to soothe skin. It’s naturally antibacterial, full of antioxidants, and moisturizing. 

Lemon is high in vitamin C, which is required for countless bodily functions including skin, immune system, and cardiovascular health. 

Rosemary is rich in antioxidant compounds like rosmarinic acid that help protect cells from oxidative stress and support healthy circulation and brain function.

Ingredients

2 cups filtered water
3 sprigs fresh rosemary (stem & leaves)
1 Tablespoon raw honey
2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar (unfiltered with mother)
Juice from ½ lemon
⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper (or to taste)
½ teaspoon Ceylon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a small pot, bring water to a boil. Remove from heat and add rosemary. Cover and let steep for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove rosemary and stir in honey until dissolved. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  3. Enjoy warm or add a few ice cubes. Store in refrigerator for up to 2 days.
