Hi Patricia.
Some things that I would personally look for in an aloe vera juice are: no sugar added, no preservatives, made from the whole leaf and is organic. The brand I used in the particular recipe is Lily of the Desert. Find what works for you and your body.
Much health to you,
Katrina

How do I gain juice from my aloe plant? Your video wouldn’t play … it said PRIVATE!!!?
Customer Service says
Hi Linda,
Oh no! We are very sorry that the video had an error. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It is now fixed. :) Although we do not have an exact recipe for using an aloe plant for juice, we do know to make juice from the aloe plant you can remove the outer green layer and use gel inside. You would blend the gel with water. There are many recipes online that provide the details/measurements. I hope you find this information helpful. Have a happy and healthy day! :)

One can extract the inner pulp with a spoon, after slicing off the skin, and then with the skin part, rub the inner part on relevant parts of your body, like face for sunburn or wrinkles, skin issues, etc. The texture is very slimy but the health benefits are well established.
