Who doesn’t love a Gingerbread Latte? Perfect for the cool weather and holiday season. Warm up with this delicious fan favorite, with a low-calorie, healthy twist. This gingerbread latte, which can be served warm or on ice, will be sure to warm your heart this winter, with its tasty, traditional, spice-filled flavor, and an added scoop of clean collagen protein, to boost your protein intake for the day! Starbucks DIY Gingerbread Latte

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 ½ cup erythritol or sugar substitute
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh espresso
  • 8 ounces almond milk or milk of choice, steamed
  • 1 scoop Organixx’s Clean Sourced Collagens
  • Optional: Whipped cream and ground nutmeg

Directions

  1. Make syrup by combining water, sugar, ginger, cinnamon, and vanilla in a medium saucepan.
  2. Bring mixture to a boil then reduce heat and simmer syrup for 15 minutes. Remove syrup from heat and put a lid on it.
  3. If making with an espresso machine, make a double shot of espresso and steam your milk. Make your latte by first adding 1/2 cup espresso to a 16-ounce cup. Add 1/4 cup gingerbread syrup, followed by steamed milk. Add 1 scoop of Clean Sourced Collagens. Stir.
  4. If making by warming milk, heat milk in a saucepan and foam. Make your latte by first adding 1/2 cup espresso to a 16-ounce cup. Add 1/4 cup gingerbread syrup, followed by steamed milk. Add 1 scoop of Clean Sourced Collagens. Stir.
  5. Reserve the remaining gingerbread syrup in the refrigerator for the next day!
  6. Optional: Add whipped cream and ground nutmeg to the top of your latte.
