Ingredients Highlights

Apples contain fiber, vitamin C, pectin, and polyphenols which have been associated with anti-inflammatory effects and an increase in “good” bacteria in the gut.

Just 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon daily can have positive effects on blood sugar levels, digestion, immunity, and more.

Organixx Clean Sourced Collagens powder includes 5 types of collagen from four real food sources. It also provides targeted nutrients such as zinc, vitamin C, and vitamin B6, which may help to enhance the bioavailability and potency of collagen.

Maple syrup provides a number of minerals including manganese, zinc, calcium, and potassium. It also contains amino acids, antioxidants, and even some anti-inflammatory compounds.

Oats are technically gluten-free because they aren’t a type of wheat, barley, or rye grain. However, if you have celiac or a significant gluten sensitivity, look for oats that are certified gluten-free to ensure no cross-contamination.

Tahini is made by grinding up sesame seeds. Similar to nut butters, it is a calorically dense food that is rich in minerals.

  1. Hi Carole!

I'm so happy to hear that you will be trying out this yummy recipe. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

If you're looking for a non-dairy protein powder, some things to consider when researching: 3rd party testing (for transparency), type and amount of sweetener, and source/quality and amount of protein per serving.

For me I have found that I need to try products out for myself to see how my body responds. Health is such a personal journey. Good luck and thanks for being here!

  2. This sounds awesome! Saved and will most definitely give it a try! Thank you!
