Low Carb Cream Cheese Mousse
Ingredients
- 1 cup organic heavy whipping cream, preferably from grass-fed cows
- 8 oz organic cream cheese, softened, preferably from grass-fed cows
- 1 scoop Organixx Clean Sourced Collagens Powder
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ cup powdered Lakanto
- Optional topping ideas: fruit, chopped nuts, shredded coconut, citrus zest, 8-10 drops essential oil (e.g., orange or lemon
Instructions
- Beat whipping cream until stiff peaks form (thickens and stays put when beater removed). Watch carefully as over-beating the whipping cream can turn it lumpy.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, collagens powder, vanilla, and Lakanto together until mixed well. (If using essential oils or citrus juice, can add that here.)
- Fold whipping cream into cream cheese mixture and combine well.
- Place in serving dishes and add your choice of toppings. Enjoy
- Store any leftovers covered in the refrigerator.

Looks delicious, thanks for sharing! Can you explain how full fat whipping cream and cream cheese can be low carb? Thank you!
Customer Service says
Hi Janet, thank you for feedback. Yes, it's just as delicious as it looks.
Regarding your question, heavy whipping cream is a popular ingredient in low-carb and keto recipes due to its high-fat content and low carbohydrates. One tablespoon of heavy whipping cream has just under 1/2 gram of carbs. Cream cheese is made from cream, water, and a starter culture from lactic acid bacteria. It only has around 2 grams of carbs per ounce which makes it another popular keto-friendly food.
We hope this helps. Do let us know if you decide to give this recipe a try. We'd love to know how it turns out for you.
