Golden Carrot Turmeric Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 med-large navel or cara cara orange (or 3 small oranges such as clementines or mandarins)
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 2 medium carrots, roughly chopped
  • 1 medium banana (fresh or frozen)
  • ⅓ cup cashews or 2 tablespoons cashew butter
  • 1-inch knob of fresh ginger
  • ½-inch knob of fresh turmeric root or 1/2 tsp powdered turmeric
  • 2 ½ tablespoons hemp hearts plus more for garnish
  • ½ tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1-2 dates (optional for extra sweetness)
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 2-3 capsules of Multi-Vita-Maxx, opened (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until desired consistency is achieved.
