Dr. Daniel Nuzum: So, let’s take a step back and let’s look at, there are people in the population, there are certain groups of people that don’t produce enough pepsin and stomach acid in their stomach to extract the B12 from the protein it gets bound in, in our food. There are people like those with reflux and gastric issues that don’t produce enough acid, and they don’t have the pepsin in their stomach to extract the B12. Other people with adrenal fatigue, when there’s adrenal fatigue, there’s a low stomach acid production that will happen.
And those folks tend to be the ones that will need a B12 injection periodically because they just can’t extract it from the food.
So, people with stomach problems, actual stomach problems, not necessarily gut issues, but low acid production, therefore, they have reflux, they’re not digesting their food well, and then those with adrenal fatigue, they tend to need B12 injections.
Jonathan Hunsaker: Thanks, Doc. I appreciate your wealth of knowledge, as usual.
