Immune Support – Living an INSPIRED Life With Doc Nuzum (video)
Jonathan Hunsaker: Superbugs, flu viruses, toxins in our water, toxins in our foods. In this day and age, you have to have a strong immune system. Stay tuned to find out how to make yours bulletproof.
Jonathan Hunsaker with Organixx. Thanks for tuning in. Today, we’re continuing our series on INSPIRED: The 8 Pillars of Health.
Today, we’re talking about the second I in INSPIRED, Immune Support, and more specifically, boosting your immune system. We know how important it is to have a rock-solid immune system in this day and age. Let’s go talk to Doc Nuzum to find out specifically how we do it.
Dr. Daniel Nuzum: Okay, today, we’re going to be talking about immunity, boosting the immune system, and how we can go about doing things like that.
Think about it. In today’s world, we have superbugs. This year in particular, we’re having terrible issues with the flu virus. These are kind of ongoing things. We’re exposed to these things very consistently, especially if you live in a large city. You mix that with the toxicity that we’re exposed to, my goodness, you just have a perfect storm for our poor immune systems.
Today, because of world travel, there are communicable diseases that normally would only be in certain regions of the world. Because of world travel, you can find traces of those in almost every major city in the world. Since we’re being exposed to all of these different toxins, all of these different pathogens, and things like that, we need to fortify our immune system.
Think of an old castle. You get into this old castle and you’re going to take up residence there, but the castle’s run down. Well, if you’re going to go into that castle and make it a safe place for you to live, you’re going to have to go in and rebuild things in that castle, correct?
So, you go in and you start rebuilding this castle, before too long, you’ll have a fortified fortress, which is exactly what we need to do with our immune system. We need to take all the right things that are going to build up our immunity so that when we’re bombarded by all of these different toxins in our environment, we have defenses against those things.
We have things like medicinal mushrooms that can provide our immune system with the information and the fuel to defend itself. I tell people that taking medicinal mushrooms is kind of like taking your immune system to karate class. Every time you’re consuming these mushrooms, they’re telling and training your immune system in new techniques on how it can defend itself. So, all that information in those mushrooms are extremely important to your immune system.
Then you have things like ashwagandha and astragalus, all these other herbs that are extremely powerful boosters of your immunity. So, they’re very powerful in enhancing your body’s ability to defend itself. They help support your immunity.
When we’re consuming these things on a regular basis, it keeps our defenses up. You’re going to breathe, you’re going to drink water, you’re going to eat food. Therefore, you will be exposed to these things. We can minimize our exposure, we can wash our hands, we can wash our food, but we’re still going to be exposed.
So, if you’re not doing something to build your immunity, you’re leaving the door open to disaster. There’s simple things that we can do, like probiotics and enzymes, medicinal mushrooms, turmeric, ginger, all these different things. Vitamins, minerals, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, are all very, very powerful immune-enhancing nutrients.
So, at our house, we use 7M+, we use Turmeric 3D, we use Organizymes, and we use Probiotics as our go-to nutrients for boosting our immunity and maintaining a good, healthy immune system.
Jonathan Hunsaker: Thanks, Doc, and thank you guys at home for watching. The feedback we’re getting about our new INSPIRED series is inspiring. So, I hope it’s helping you live a healthier life.
