  1. These were very good! However, the oil totally separated…I’m assuming it was the oil from the walnuts. I must have processed them too long but it seemed only as long as Katrina did. Hmmmm…not sure why this happened but it made it hard to roll them in the toppings as the oil seeped through and made a mess.

    • Hey Linda! We are glad to know you found these good. Yes, processing them longer may cause the consistency to become thinner. This can be dependent upon you processor as well. Thank you for sharing this information. I am sure other may find it helpful. Have a happy and healthy day! :)

  2. These are bloody amazing! I plan to make them by the dozen, freeze them, and pull them out an hour before dinner to suit the numbers. Add vanilla ice cream and a brandy and, bam, you’re a hero !

    • Glad to hear that, Cate! We are pleased to know that you enjoyed this recipe.

We like how you added your own twist in recreating this recipe. We're sure it was a hit for dinner!

    • Hi Tilly, thanks for your question. Yes, you are definitely welcome to try and create these frozen. You may find the balls to be a bit harder than the non-frozen ones (like the one in Katrina's video), but please feel free to add your own twist to this recipe based on your preference. We'd love to know how yours turned out!

  3. Hi Katrina I really love your recipes, my favourites at the moment are the peppermint and the orange and chocolate bliss balls they are so yummy. I also love that you bring out your children for the taste test I know children will always react naturally to things and they certainly eat them up with a smile. Thank you for sharing your recipes, they are always easy to do.

    • Thank you for the wonderful words of appreciation, Freda! We'll make sure to relay this message to Katrina. We'll also make sure to publish more healthy, easy, and tasty recipes for kids in the future. Enjoy your weekend!
