How to Get Rid of Estrogen Dominance: "Doc Talks" with Dr. Daniel NuzumReading Time: 2 minutes
Jonathan Hunsaker: Too much estrogen flowing through your body?
Thanks for tuning in. We’re going to talk about estrogen.
Dr. Daniel Nuzum: In our environment, we have a lot of estrogen-mimicking things in our environment. There are plastics; there’s hydrocarbons from petroleum, mercury, lead, cadmium is estrogen-mimicking. Those are heavy metals that are estrogen-mimicking in both men and women.
Bottom line is we have to detoxify our system of these chemicals, number one. We have to cleanse our livers in particular. We have to get waste out of our system. We’ve got to get our filtration systems filtering properly.
Another important thing is cruciferous vegetables. Cruciferous vegetables are extremely important. The antioxidants in cruciferous vegetables chelate, pull estrogen out of our system. They’re wonderful.
Another thing is to supplement with iodine. Iodine is itself an anti-estrogen. It blocks the bad estrogens in our system that promote heart disease, promotes diabetes, and promote different kinds of cancer. [Iodine] also enhances thyroid function, and thyroid is an anti-estrogen. Anyone that has a slow or underactive thyroid will naturally tend to be estrogen dominant.
And then we come to adaptogens. Adaptogens modulate things. And modulating means regulate.
So, we look at detoxification, supplementing with iodine and other nutrients, consuming cruciferous vegetables, and then adaptogens. Those are things that we can do to reduce our estrogen levels, lower our cortisol levels, and help promote healthy thyroid and testosterone levels.
Now you can easily support a healthy thyroid… and help flush out excess estrogen from your body with Organixx Iodine.
