Are Bioidentical Hormones Safe to Take with E-Plexx? – "Ask the Doc"
Jonathan Hunsaker: Today’s episode of “Ask the Doc” is for the ladies out there, as we’re talking about bioidentical hormones and supplementation.
Jonathan Hunsaker here with Organixx, for another episode of “Ask the Doc.” Today’s question is “Are bioidentical hormones safe to take with E-Plexx?” Let’s go ask the doc.
Dr. Daniel Nuzum: So, our question is “Can E-Plexx, and bioidentical hormones be taken together?”
In my experience with my patients, we’ve worked with bioidentical hormones for years and years and years. Most often, folks end up with hormone imbalances and hormone deficiencies, which causes them to require bioidentical hormone treatment for two reasons.
One, either their body isn’t producing enough hormone, or their body isn’t metabolizing the hormones properly. What I always have used with my patients is adaptogens. Adaptogens enable them to metabolize those hormones properly. And for women, if they have their ovaries, they have their thyroid, they have their adrenals, the adaptogens enhance their production of these hormones also.
And so, what we’ve found is that yes, most often, when they take E-Plexx, and they’re on bioidentical hormones, they don’t need to take as much of the bioidentical hormones. And they feel better. They metabolize the hormones better, so it kind of levels things out for them a lot better.
So, I hope that answers the question, “Can you take E-Plexx and bioidentical hormones at the same time?”
Jonathan Hunsaker: We’re having a lot of fun with this series. If you have a question for Doc specifically, submit your question to us and we’ll ask Doc.
